Post Description
The sound of water, the movement of it, the mystery - draws us to it. A pool or pond or even a tiny fountain becomes a focus in any garden setting. And water is a magnet for the wild creatures too, creating a special habitat that will entice its own diverse and unique guest list. Gardens at the water's edge have their own special sights and sounds - some of which are here, for your painting pleasure. Create a boggy area for plants that like their feet wet or a still pool for the water lilies and hyacinths. Such plants attract water-loving insects such as dragonflies that in turn invite the birds and animals that depend on them. Even the smallest water garden can bring a new dimension and a special serenity to your yard - and to your brush.
